Biography
Somu Suryanarayanan (Somu) is an Engineering Leader at CookUnity, where he builds AI-powered test automation systems. His work centers on agentic testing, large language model integration, and the Model Context Protocol. He has built platforms including Test Studio, a plain-English to Playwright test generation system, an AI API testing agent, and a mobile automation system using Appium MCP and Claude Code that was adopted across all mobile teams. He has served as a peer reviewer for multiple IEEE conferences and is a published author on cost-effective AI-driven quality infrastructure. He is an IEEE Seniot Member with more than a decade of experience across PayPal, Life360, and MyVest.
